AAF’s AmerShield gas turbine pre-filters, with integrated Impress® technology, offer an outstanding combination of advanced filtration technology and coalescing performance. They are specifically designed for the rigorous and high moisture environments of gas turbine air inlet applications.

The AmerShield’s optimized pleat spacing allows the filter media to load evenly and maintain a low resistance to airflow, serving to maximize filter life. There is also no risk of bypass as the entire perimeter of the filter media is bonded to the plastic frame. The hydrophobic media is effective at coalescing airborne moisture to form large droplets on the air entry side of the media, which then fall out of the airstream to the bottom of the filter.

This heavy-duty, halogen-free mini pleat filter protects compressors, gas turbines, and other machinery in which frequent stops and starts or turbulent airflows may occur.

The DuraGT product range is very versatile, the DuraV300 is ideally suited as a final filter in lower efficiency filter systems, or as an intermediate filter to protect higher efficiency or EPA grade final filters. The DuraGT V450 is a high capacity, high efficiency pre-filter or first stage filter. It has a low dP and is ideally suited to protect (H)EPA filters, such as AAF’s HydroGT.

Specifically designed for the rigorous environments of gas turbine inlet applications, AAF’s AmerGuard range of pocket or bag filters is ideally suited to protect fine and barrier filters such as AAF’s HydroGT.

The AmerGuard is a suitable gas turbine pre-filter in high dust environments, where its high dust-holding capacity will provide a long filter life. The synthetic fibers have a non-woven progressive density for enhanced particulate capture. In addition, moisture resistance properties help to extend the life of the final filters in high humidity environments.
